Overview

Your comprehensive new patient appointment in our office will be scheduled for 2 hours. During this visit, we will create your records and give you a current picture of where you are, so you are always in the driver’s seat to stay healthy. We use the latest digital technology to help with any necessary radiographs and intraoral photos. This technology significantly reduces any radiation exposure you may have been used to with traditional X-rays that were used in the past. You will see one of our highly skilled hygienists for an initial cleaning and periodontal evaluation, since understanding the health of your gums helps us to have a clearer picture of your overall health. We believe the mouth is the gateway to our bodies, and the health of our mouths is related to the overall health of our bodies. The doctor will also come in and talk with you about your concerns and/or interests for your dental health and address them. We will perform a comprehensive evaluation, including an Oral Cancer screening.

Upon completion, the doctor will then share with you everything found that needs your attention. Once you and the doctor have come up with an agreed-upon course of treatment, you will then talk with our treatment coordinator. You will be given estimates of how your dental insurance, if any, will help you, and options will be presented so that you can choose what will work for you. Finally, we will assist you in scheduling your treatment and helping you to begin your journey to a healthier, happier you. We look forward to being a part of your journey and will be here waiting to greet you when you arrive.

We also welcome patients with emergency concerns and will do our best to schedule you as quickly as possible. This appointment will be a much shorter duration, as we will be focusing on what is urgent at the time. Once we have addressed your main concern we will invite you back for the total new patient experience.

Dr. Nima is an Invisalign provider who offers a no charge consultation for patients interested in orthodontics. This consultation will help to determine if you are a candidate for this type of treatment. For any further information regarding this type of consultation please contact our office directly.
